Aspiring for further step forward
The history of AAS Catering (AASC) has its root that started back to the year of 1961. We began providing the in-flight meals to the aircrafts flying from all over the world at Itami Airport (then Osaka International Airport) which used to be the international gateway airport in Western Japan. With the opening of Kansai International Airport in 1994, all international flight operations had been shifted from Osaka International Airport to Kansai International Airport. In line with the opening of Kansai International Airport, the international flight had expanded in one swoop. To meet the increased flight operations, the new catering company named AASC was established to deliver the in-flight meals to more international flight, and we have been providing safe and delicious in-flight meals to the aircraft flying from various oversea countries into Kansai International Airport to date.
With more than 50 years catering service, we have patronage with the airlines from all over the world. In May 2016, we opened Fukuoka branch to further step forward to provide safe and delicious in-flight meals for passengers who travel from Fukuoka Airport as well.
In the long term mutual trust with our customer airlines, we further collaborate with them to support airlines’ safety operations in the background. Being a food provider and production, the safe food is our paramount responsibility, we maintain high quality management system in order to suit HACCP standard which is an international hygiene standard and also with approval of ISO 22000-2005, we seek higher safety standard.
Additionally, we will continue making our daily efforts and innovation on a steady basis to enable the Japanese meal which is an UNESCO intangible cultural heritage be a part of in-flight meal and we are aiming for the best caterer so as to be continually loved by customers around the world.
